K-8 Year-End Newsletter

Tuesday, June 5, 2012 - by Jennifer Grant

Dear Parents,

Here we are, once again, at the end of a school year.  It is hard to believe how quickly it has come and gone!  We have had the privilege of seeing  students mature and grow  physically, academically and socially.

This year students enjoyed the B.E.S.T/Character Education Program, a school festival, a fall dance, a trip to New York and numerous enrichment/classroom activities. They also participated in science fair projects and bi-monthly assemblies; used technology in forms of eBeam, blogging, iPads/iPods, PowerPoint and Stratalogica; and experienced many meaningful field trips.

Extremely supportive parents who work with us to keep the lines of communication open are vital for the success of our program. We thank you for being advocates for your children as well as great supporters of Eaton’s teachers and our school.  We wish great success to those students who are moving on and have graduated.  As always, we look forward to seeing returning students back in August.

Detailed information concerning orientation and forms will be sent during the summer. Orientation will be held on Friday, August 17, for returning students.  The first day of school for all K-8 and high school students will be Monday, August 20.

Have a wonderful and safe summer!

 Jennifer
