Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 - by Jennifer Grant
The genre for April in the 8th grade literature class was a How-to-Project. Students were required to read a how-to book and create the item. The students had to create the project at home or demonstrate it in front of the class.
The 5/6 grade students also had to write a how-to report. One student chose to write about and demonstrate how to do the soccer rainbow. Very impressive.

Our Town Projects
Wednesday, October 19th, 2011 - by Dawn Fix
In American Literature class we just finished reading Thorton Wilder’s Our Town. Students were given the option to either create a dramatic or art/crafts project to express their creative thinking, comprehension or the play’s concepts, and explain their favorite scene(s) from the play.
Quote from one of our students..
“For my project on Our Town I did a drawing. My drawing resembles the town in the book. I like imagining how the town would be like. I enjoyed being creative by designing the town. When I was working on the project I had a fun time.”
