Dear Parents of High School Students:
The media, the weather, our clothing, friendly waves, and even decorated cars all remind us that ‘the season’ is here! But aside from the College Football Championships, there is much more going on, and we’re preparing to wrap up the first half of the year~
I’d like to send out another “thank you” to all of the students and families who participated in or supported our MarineLab trip to Key Largo. The students were wonderful travelers and participants in all aspects of the programs. I’d happily plan another experience with all involved. I hope you’ve had a chance to read the trip blog and view the photos from the gallery on our website. (more…)

Dear Parents,
Where has the time gone?
I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is here, and first semester will soon be over.
By the end of the week, your child will be bringing home an information/sign-up sheet (please note it is double sided) for our 6th Annual International Luncheon. This is a wonderful event which gives families the opportunity to bring in and share a dish that is special to them. We always look forward to sampling these family favorites. Our luncheon this year will be held on Thursday, December 9 @ 11:00. (more…)

Dear Parents of High School Students:
We’ve made it! It sounds like a cliché, but it IS hard to believe how quickly the school year flew by!
Thank you to all who attended our Evening of Celebration to share in the recognition of our graduates as well as our students’ many accomplishments this year. …And great food on top of that! How could you beat that?
Final exams are wrapping up as I type this, and I’ve heard from many of you and from your children about exciting summer plans. I’m including with this mailing another option provided by Jane Schemanske and Gold’s Gym. Feel free to contact them directly with any questions.
Also, if you are planning for your child to attend summer school and haven’t yet made arrangements with the school, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make certain that we have the materials and staff to provide the necessary courses.
Thank you again for all of your support through the year, and I hope you enjoy a wonderful summer and return with lots of stories to share!
Stay in touch,
Glen Hauenstein

The Final Weeks in K-8
Friday, April 30th, 2010 - by Jennifer Grant
Dear Parents,
What a week! Yesterday students participated in Poem in Your Pocket Day to celebrate April’s National Poetry Month. Students found published poems and were able to share them with classmates and teachers. Today, Mrs. Baldrich and Mr. Williams along with the 8th grade Pod students and their parents left for a weekend of fun in Savannah. This annual trip is the exiting culmination of Georgia studies.
The last three weeks of school will be filled with end-of-year events and exams. I have highlighted these below.
