The students traveled to an enchanted forest, lava-spewing volcanoes, and experienced lovely waterfalls while watching the IMAX film about the content of Africa!. The students explored A Walk Through Time in Georgia, which tells the story of Georgia’s natural history and the development of our planet. The students also participated in hands-on science fun. They enjoyed learning about sound waves, explaining the weather forecast, and just having fun with friends. We would like to send out a HUGE thank you to our parents for helping us make the journey to the museum a success!
On a recent field trip outing, Eaton Academy students, teachers, and chaperons toured the Michael C. Carlos Museum of Emory University. We saw a special exhibit of masterworks of American Indian Art. After that tour was completed, we were given a docent guided tour of the permanent collections and special exhibits of ancient Egypt, the Near East, and Greece and Rome. Both tours were informative and fascinating and everyone had a great day! Chaperons, thank you very much for making possible this field experience.
During the week of May 18, many K-8 students participated in theme week. Students enjoyed dressing up as they finished their last week of school!

The K-8/PACE programs ate lunch at The Varsity restaurant before settling in to watch James and the Giant Peach at The Alliance Theatre. It was a terrific opportunity to take advantage of two iconic venues in Atlanta!. Thank you to all of our wonderful parents and staff for making this possible. It was a great day!
