Every day in Ms. Hrabosky’s English classes, students complete a Daily Starter to get them ready for class. We welcomed October and the beginning signs of fall in a big way this week by using our creativity. Tuesday we created an acrostic poem using the word October. Students were asked to think about their favorite sights and smells to help them create their poem.

#2 and #3 : Both are acrostic poems, but with a very different twist.
#2: Student wrote an October acrostic poem reflecting on his senses of sight and smell for the month.
#3: Student wrote an Otober acrostic poem reflecting on his senses of sight and smell but with a twist of expressing his love for the Atltanta Braves. He reflected on how excited he is that our home team has made
it to the play offs.
