Every day in Ms. Hrabosky’s English classes, students complete a Daily Starter to get them ready for class. We welcomed October and the beginning signs of fall in a big way this week by using our creativity. Students were asked to think about their favorite sights and smells to help them create their poem. The students enjoyed sharing their assignments and hearing what each other had to say.
Below a student wrote an October acrostic poem reflecting on his senses of sight and smell but with a twist of expressing his love for the Atlanta Braves. If only the Braves had been able to pull off Nathan’s hope for a trip to the World Series.
