Scholarship Information

Scholarship Information

Eaton Academy is happy to participate in the following Georgia sponsored scholarship programs.

Georgia Special Needs Scholarship

The Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program (SB10) is a parental choice program for special needs students attending Georgia public schools who are served under an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Students in the Early Intervention Program (EIP) or who have an Individualized Accommodation Plan (IAP) do not qualify under law for the GSNS Program.

The GSNS Program is administered by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE). Public or private schools and school districts are not responsible for providing information regarding the GSNS Program nor are they responsible for administering the program. A parent/guardian interested in the GSNS Program must first visit the GSNS Web site.

Scholarship amounts for students generally range from $2,500 to $13,500 with an average amount of about $6,000.

Georgia Education Expense Credit Program

The Georgia Education Expense Credit program (HB1133) provides the opportunity for individuals, married couples, and businesses who pay Georgia Income Tax to direct a portion of their Income Tax Liability to the private school of their choice.

There are two sides with this program. The first involves the donation of funds, and the second involves requests for scholarships.

Eaton Academy encourages you to get involved in the funding of this program so that students may benefit from it.

Please visit www.gascholarships.org for information about the Georgia Student Scholarship Organization, one of the student scholarship organizations approved by the State of Georgia to administer the Georgia Education Expense Credit program.
