Animal Farm

The seniors in Ms. Hrabosky’s English class constructed a variety of projects to wrap up our Animal Farm unit. Students were required to pick from a variety of projects and show their creativity and comprehension of the novel throughout the assignment. Most students created a map of a country and labeled the land with all the appropriate parts such as country name, mountains, bodies of water, capital, cities, etc. This project allowed students to imagine what it would be like suddenly to have control over land and make it their own just as the animals in Animal Farm received responsibility for the land when they took charge and changed the farm from Manor Farm to Animal Farm. The students enjoyed the novel as well as the end of the unit projects as they were able to pick the options that interested them and would be able to show their talent and creativity the most.
