Juggling Club

Nature Walk

Ms. Stickel’s class took a nature walk and explored their five senses. They recorded their observations in their science journal. It was a beautiful day to be outside and soak in all the sights and sounds.

Soil Conservation

In our 6th grade science class, we were talking about soil conservation. Each group was given a pie pan and some soil. They used a variety of materials to try to prevent their soil from washing away when water was poured on it.

Native American Crafts

Mrs. Coryer’s social studies groups worked on fun Native American crafts the week before Thanksgiving. They made beaded necklaces, painted bags with native images, and created totem poles. Tellus Museum

The seventh and eighth graders took a field trip to the Tellus Museum on Monday, November 17. The students were able to visit the four main galleries: The Weinman Mineral Gallery, Fossil Gallery, Science in Motion, and The Collins Family My Big Backyard.

Chattahoochee Nature Center

Ms. Ammendola, Mrs. Romero, and Mrs. O’Reilly’s classes went on a field trip to the Chattahoochee Nature Center. They learned about the Creek and Cherokee tribes that lived in Georgia. The students also toured The Aviary Plaza and Discovery Center. A fun time was had by all!!
