We’re proud to announce that Eaton Academy is a Silver Sponsor of this year’s Dyslexia Dash! On July 9 a news team from CBS46 visited Eaton Academy to do a story on our plans for fall. Rebekka Schramm and her crew spent almost two hours filming and interviewing staff members who spoke about our plans to provide in-person classes. The reason CBS46 came to Eaton is that we are one of the few schools ready to let news crews in and discuss protocols for COVID-19 and its impact on bringing students physically back to school. Check out this post for more and to view the CBS46 news segment.

This year in deference to the need for social distancing and to host an event in the safest environment possible, we gathered with just our graduates, their families, and their teachers in front of our building at 9:00 in the morning.

Before the onslaught of the coronavirus and all the concerns it has generated, Eaton Academy was researching issues revolving around cell phones and social media. To that end we had the therapist Nancy Rosenblum visit with some students last Friday. Additionally, we’ve picked up several bits of information and suggestions that may be of benefit to you and your children. We offer them here.
