Rebecca Loebe, daughter of Indenpendent Study Program instructor Al Loebe, was one of the talented performers selected to compete on NBC-TV’s new series, The Voice. On the opening episode (shown on Tuesday & Wednesday, April 26 & 27) Rebecca was chosen by pop stars Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine to be on “their teams” for the competition.

Under the rules of the show, when an artist is selected by two or more “coaches,” the artist is entilted to choose on whose team he or she wishes to perform. Ms. Loebe elected to have Mr. Levine become her coach for the upcoming elements of the competition.
The proud father was all smiles during his many tutorial sessions after the broadcasts. “It’s truly amazing and rather surreal to see your daughter performing on national TV,” said Mr. Loebe.
Ms. Loebe has been working over the last several years to break into the big time of musical performing and recording. She has released her music on CD’s and performed at Chastain Park.
Everyone at Eaton wishes Rebecca Loebe (and her father Al) all the best in her drive to become The Voice!”
