With spring in bloom, summer cannot be far away, and summer is always a busy time at Eaton Academy. Starting on June 6, we will be offering group classes, ISP sessions, the LEAP into Summer program, and various camps.
LEAP Into Summer
LEAP into Summer provides individuals ages 14 and up the opportunity to sample the job market and sharpen their interpersonal skills. Running Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 3:00, the program takes participants in the morning to local job sites in retail, food service, and carpentry. In the afternoon the staff engage participants in exercises designed to improve their financial acuity, interviewing techniques, and self-confidence. The June session runs from the 6th through the 24th. A second session is offered July 11 through 29. The cost for each session is $2,200.00.
Summer School Group Classes
Summer also offers students the chance to make up failed courses or to take new ones for acceleration. Class sizes will vary by course but will remain small, typically in a 5 to 1 student to teacher ratio. Core subjects are available. Classes take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 1:00 for three weeks. Students must attend every hour and pass all assignments in order to earn course credit. The cost for each session is $995.00.
Summer School ISP Sessions
Some students prefer the individualized attention provided in Independent Study Program (ISP) sessions. In ISP they are paired with an instructor to tackle subjects in a one-to-one setting on a schedule that meets their needs. Tuition varies with the number of courses taken and hours scheduled.
Both group and ISP sessions are offered June 6 through 24 and July 11 through 29.

Eaton is offering five week-long camps this summer. Each one provides a mix of academic reinforcement and creative activities.
In the morning, students focus on reading comprehension and fundamentals of mathematics. After lunch, there will be fun activities, outdoor games, and visits to local entertainment venues such as Aurora Theater, Bowlero, and MyClayground.
Students may sign-up for a half or full day option.
