English Renaissance Period

Twelfth grade English students composed an outline to help better understand the English Renaissance Period.  In this unit, they are studying about the renaissance and reformation as well as answering the three big questions for the unit: What is the relationship between literature and place? How does literature shape or reflect society? What is the relationship of the writer to tradition?  Later this week the students are looking forward to reading sonnets by Edmund Spenser and Sir Philip Sidney.
