I’m not comfortable with in-person learning. Does Eaton offer options for quality online learning?

Yes. Students may enroll for live on-camera/online classes in either our group program or in our one-to-one Independent Study Program.

Can my child come to school if he or she has a fever but exhibits no other symptoms of COVID-19?

No. Parents are expected to closely monitor the health of their children. Individuals who are not feeling well or who are running temperatures (100+) need to stay at home.

What happens if our child or someone in our household tests positive for COVID-19?

You will need to notify the school, keep the student home in a self-quarantine situation for two weeks, and submit a negative COVID-19 test result before having the student return to school.

Are students required to wear masks?

Students must be wearing masks as they enter school. Students will proceed directly to their first period classes. Loitering in the halls or at lockers will not be allowed. Every effort will be made to promote social distancing. When social distancing cannot be maintained, everyone will be wearing face masks.

What steps is Eaton taking to sanitize classrooms and other school areas?

Students and staff will employ appropriate health and hygiene protocols such as frequent hand washing, covering their mouths with their arms/elbows when sneezing or coughing, and using masks/face shields as appropriate. Student desks will be sanitized after each class, and students will be given hand sanitizer at the start of each period.
