Dear Parents of High School Students:
The timing looks perfect for our four-day weekend! I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy the spring preview.
Tennis Club started up this week, and we had another great turnout for our first lesson and practice of the spring. Bowling continues to be a popular club, and I encourage you to stop by sometime and watch (or even participate in) the fun! Senior portraits were taken this week, and caps and gowns are currently being ordered for our soon-to-be graduates.
I hope your child has had an opportunity to share some of the excitement and wisdom from our visit by professional motorcycle racer, Huntley Nash. Huntley provided some excellent insight into setting goals and the work that is required to reach one’s dreams. We look forward to following his successes on the track this year. He even promised tickets to AMA races in the area this year for those who are interested!
Mrs. Kern’s classes are excited and preparing for their trip to Washington, DC in two weeks! Mrs. O’Brien is assisting with preparations, and both of their history classes are studying historical landmarks and monuments to provide even more depth to their visit.
The six-week grade reports are being completed by the teachers today, and they should be uploaded overnight to our server for your viewing. Eaton’s policy allows students with grades of 75 or above in each of their classes and no ‘Incompletes’ the option of attending daily Help Sessions. All other students are required to attend Help Session on a daily basis, Monday through Thursday.
Enjoy the sun and warmth, and as always, stay in touch.
