Festive Greetings to All!
Today students were able to take a trip around the world via their taste buds at our annual International Luncheon. Families contributed their favorite dishes, reflecting elements of their cultures and backgrounds. The buffet offered choices from Mexico, India, Germany, Italy, and the USA, among many other countries.
This year for the first time, all K-12 program students participated in the event. Staff and students enjoyed the wide variety of entrees, side dishes, salads, and desserts. Experiencing even a little of their classmates’ heritage helps students appreciate what other families and cultures have to offer.
We send a big thank you to all the parents who spent long hours mixing, measuring, and baking all the flavorful dishes.
