We hope you and your families had a restful and fun spring break. As
another year rapidly approaches its close, we want to let you know about
a few upcoming important events happening in our school.
We are extremely proud to announce that we are celebrating our 20th
year! We incorporated in January of 1995 and started our first
classroom in the school year of 1995-96. We are planning a 20th year
Celebration on Friday, October 2, 2015 of which many activities will be
planned for students, families, alumni, and professionals! We are
looking forward to this event and will send everyone a save-the-date
email prior to the end of the school year and invitations in early
fall. Please mark your calendars and continue to look for
communications regarding this milestone.
It is with mixed emotions that we inform you that Jennifer Grant, our
K8 Director, will be leaving us this summer. On one hand, we are
delighted that her husband has found rewarding employment in Tennessee
and that their entire family will be reunited. However, on the other,
we are sad to lose her. Jennifer has been an employee of Eaton Academy
since 2000. Even more than that, she has been a great friend,
colleague, and a tremendous asset to our staff and administrative team.
Throughout her tenure, Jennifer always displayed compassion, honesty,
integrity, pedagogical knowledge, and friendship to our students, staff,
parents and families. She will be greatly missed.
In anticipation of this change, we have had Marcia Hall working
along-side Jennifer throughout the last few years, and she will become the
new K8 director. Marcia has been with Eaton Academy for ten years and
will continue our program’s excellence with her usual enthusiasm
and professionalism.
