Eaton Academy offers Aftercare for K-12 students.
The service operates from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Aftercare is available starting the second week of each semester and runs through the second-to-the-last week of each semester. The cost is a flat $1,200.00 per semester.
This program provides a safe, secure, and supervised environment in which students may end their school day and await their parents’ arrival. There is no academic component to this program. Students are permitted to work on homework.
However, the focus will be on reading, playing board games, and weather permitting, playing outside. Video games, movies, and special culinary events are also incorporated into Aftercare, with parental approval.
Aftercare is a structured, caring program for students whose parents need a late afternoon pick-up time. It is not designed as a “drop-in”, pay-as-you-go offering. To assure proper staffing, a firm commitment is required from each attending family.
Aftercare ends promptly at 6:00 p.m. There is a dollar-per-minute late fee due at pick-up and payable to the Aftercare staff for parents who arrive after 6:00.
