Students in Ms. Robb’s Science class finished off the school year by becoming paleontologists for a day. Students received excavation kits and dug up dinosaurs skeletons of the as Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, and Diplodocus. The dinosaur fossil kits came from Dinosaur Park in Rapid City, South Dakota. Prior to the dig, students learned about dinosaurs found in the United States (mainly in the South Dakota region), relationships dinosaurs have with birds today, and recent dinosaur discoveries.
