ISP For Acceleration or Remediation
Our Independent Study Program (ISP) provides one-to-one instruction both in person and online. It is an excellent approach to education for students who want to accelerate or remediate their academics. Students receive the individualized instruction they need to achieve their scholastic goals.
ISP For Students Involved In Outside Activities
ISP is also a wonderful option for students who have an outside talent or passion that they want to explore. Parents often want to support their children as they work to realize their dream of becoming an actor or tennis pro, but at the same time parents want students to get a good education – just in case. Meeting in a tutorial setting according to a schedule that works for the student insures that both goals can be met – students can pursue their talents and parents can be sure that their children complete high school.
Meet Erik Evans
While we have had many such ISP students over the years, I would like to highlight a current student as he literally drives for success in his academics and on the race track. Senior Erik Evans is an F4 racecar driver who just finished fourth in the final weekend races at Circuit of the Americas (COTA). Erik is laser-focused on what he hopes will be a long and rewarding career in racing. (Erik was featured in a previous blog post last year.)
