The seventh and eighth grade classes adopted 2 tree frogs in the fall. Egg Roll and Mr. Bean spent their days in the science classroom enjoying a diet high in crickets and cool water. The students and teachers took turns feeding them. The frogs began loudly “calling” after the Christmas break, which meant they were ready to start a family. The classes agreed that after any threat of a frost, the tree frogs should go back to the forest. We released them on National Pet Day with lots of good wishes for the future!
