The Resource Room class finished Sign of the Beaver this week. They read the book every day and participated in activities such as summarizing, sampling the food, acting out scenes, writing activities, and dressing up as a favorite character. Each student also created his own persuasive bound book. They culminated the unit by watching the movie Sign of the Beaver on Friday. It has been a great experience and lots of fun for the students to be immersed in this novel.
