K8 Newsletter – Thanks for a great year!

Dear Parents, As always, it is hard to believe another school year has come and gone!  Not only have students matured, and grown academically and socially, they have also had the opportunity to participate in numerous enriching events.  This year students enjoyed The B.E.S.T/Character Education Program, a school carnival, a fall dance, and an enrichment activities/bowling party. […]

8th Graders Shoot Off Rockets!

As an extension to our study of motion and energy, each year the 8th graders build model rockets. On Wednesday, May 11, students had the opportunity to test their rockets by launching them at Waller Park Exchange. Students enjoyed the nice weather as they watched their rockets soar. Students always enjoy putting theory into practice!

7th Graders Go Fishing!

As  a supplement to the 7th graders’ study of ecology in life science, students participated in a fishing trip to a small pond located in the Chattahoochee Park in Sandy Springs on May 4. Last fall the students set up a small compost/ecosystem using earthworms and kept track of the population growth. Students then discussed […]

K-8 Fall Dance a Big Hit!!!

Friday’s Fall Dance was a huge success! Students, parents, and teachers all enjoyed themselves. Throughout the evening students danced, played an assortment of games (pool, Ping-Pong, foosball), and snacked. It was a great social activity for the entire Eaton family. Once again, thanks to Carri and London for coming up with this idea in August. […]

Science Fair Continues…

Science fair projects continue to progress in the Pod classes. Students are being guided as they create their model, experiments, and papers. It is a meticulous process with many steps that Eaton feels should be taught and carried out at school rather than at home. Once students finish this process, they will have a better […]

K-8 Newsletter

Dear Parents, This Friday students participated in our bi-monthly assembly. Ms. Hall’s students presented one of our character education words – kindness. We also reviewed the “B” in B.E.S.T, discussed upcoming events, and shared cake with our August and September birthday students. Assemblies are always well received by the students, and they continue to be […]
