R.A.W (Read and Write)

Ms. Ammendola’s language arts class practiced R.A.W., Read and Write. The students read for an assigned amount of time and then wrote about it. Afterwards they proofread and edited their entry using a proofreader and writer checklist. R.A.W helps improve reading fluency and comprehension. Proofreading helps improve understanding of writing mechanics.

The High School Resource students went on a special field trip today to North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC).  The students are saving a large portion of their earnings from their successful business venture Today Café to donate to the charity.

Goal Setting in W.O.W (Word of the Week)

Our words of the week are setting goals. The young elementary class created posters showing goals they were working toward.
