After enduring the complications of COVID concerns and restrictions over the last three years, we returned to the Roswell Mill for our annual Evening of Celebration. The event was held on May 18 and honored our rising freshmen, our award winners, and the Class of 2023.

What a week it was! Eaton’s Sunshine Committee delighted our teachers and staff with a Monday through Friday extravaganza last week (April 23-28) to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at Eaton. Spearheaded by the kind efforts of Debbie Arant, Becky Wright, and Allison Hall, many parents made financial contributions, gave items for a staff raffle, and dropped off food items.

We are happy to announce that for the first time in four years, our yearend program, the Evening of Celebration, will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023. This event recognizes the achievements of students in all grades and will take place in the Vickery Room at the Roswell Mill. This year, our graduation ceremony will once again be a part of the evening’s program. (Note: Pictured in the photo is a group of last year’s grads.)

On Thursday, March 16, our staff was once again feted by the wonderful parents of our Sunshine Committee. With a St. Patrick’s Day theme, the parents produced a bountiful buffet with foods connected to the holiday as well as many other tasty delights that complimented the theme selections.

In this season of caring and giving, Eaton Academy’s Sunshine Committee cared enough to give their very best! On December 9 they arranged to have a holiday lunch catered by Olive Garden for our teachers and administrators. Everyone enjoyed salad, breadsticks, and a generous pasta bar. To make matters even more festive and tasty, the Sunshine Committee provided a variety of delicious desserts.
