The PACE students are continuing the Eaton tradition of gaining real-life experience while they learn by running the school store, Today Cafe. The store will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the beginning of lunch, starting Thursday, September 17; so they are hard at work making all the necessary preparations before the grand opening. They will be offering different kinds of food and drinks, so make sure you stop by and check out their selection. The students will not only be running the store while it’s open, but they have also been learning about how a business works behind the scenes. They will rotate all the jobs so that they are able to experience as many different positions as possible. In class they have been discussing such things as inventory and profit and where to donate the money that they make. This year they have new students as well as ones who are more experienced in the ways of Today Cafe. Come to the Mentor Room to check it out!
