On Halloween afternoon, our community of staff, parents, and students came together for a wonderfully festive Trunk or Treat celebration! Even Mother Nature joined in the fun, sending us a bright, sunny day after several days of rain.
A huge thank you goes out to all the parents who decorated trunks and helped make this event such a success. The creativity was incredible—each trunk was uniquely themed, ranging from whimsical fantasy to spooky and mysterious. Congratulations to the Goode family, who took home the $50 prize for Best Trunk with their elaborate Wizard of Oz display—complete with Alice starring as Dorothy!
Adding to the excitement were special guests from the Roswell Police Department and a unit from the Roswell Fire Department, who delighted students with a close-up look at their impressive ladder truck.
This fun-filled afternoon wouldn’t have been possible without Kelly Giles, who led the planning efforts, and Mercedes Sasser and Christian Dooley, who provided design and logistical support. Scott Baldrich and Moneek Brown were instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our dedicated teachers pitched in to supervise the games, take photos, and help serve food. And a special shoutout goes to Ms. Jackson’s daughter, Toni, for her delicious—and delightfully spooky—“eyeball” cake pops!
Families enjoyed a variety of treats, from hot apple cider and popcorn mix to classic Halloween candy, while students played outdoor games and posed for festive fall photos. The event was truly a celebration of creativity, community, and fun for everyone involved.
Thank you again to everyone who made this year’s Trunk or Treat such a memorable event!
